About Saltdean
Saltdean is based east of Brighton, a short distance from Rottingdean on the coastal road. The area only became inhabited around 1924, when the land was first sold with a view to housing and property development. It is renowned for its unique and interesting architecture, with its most famous building being Saltdean Lido – an Art Deco community centre with a swimming pool. With fantastic access to the countryside, the beach, and good schools, Saltdean is a great spot for families. It provides good access to Brighton & Hove, whilst being away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
